There’s a big Formula 1 wedding coming up and it belongs to Elisabetta Gregoraci and Flavio Briatore. While Flavio is not as well known in the U.S., for Europeans his name is as common as Trump’s is stateside.

Flavio has dated Naomi Campbell as well as Heidi Klum to whom he sired a baby.

Briatore proposed to Gregoraci on the deck of his yacht moored off Sardinia during the meteor shower. He recently had a huge birthday party for the Jeweler who made the ring: Fawaz Gruosi.

Gruosi has made diamond history with the largest heart-shaped black diamond in the world, the 115.34 carat Gruosi Diamond.

Briatore recently made the rags with a bit of a proverbial slap in the face of Bruce Willis and super-producer Jerry Weintraub. Definitely not out of character for the tycoon…
