How to create a Viral Video to sell your product

videoAbazias scored today in creating a viral video to promote his brand. The video even made Gizmodo. How do you create a viral video that will be viewed, linked to and generate buzz? Simple if you deal in tangible products. Get the prettiest girl you can find, get an ad copywriter, have the girl place your product in a blender. Videotape it. Publish it on YouTube. Email all your friends. Done.
True, a diamond ring in a blender is very well suited to this type of video (viewable after the jump). It pits a hard object against the blades…but I bet many other products would still get noticed…like chewing gum (Bubble Yum, are you listening?).

We may as well add some diamond education to this post. Why does the diamond get destroyed by the blender? Because while Diamonds are the hardest natural substance on Earth, they aren’t the toughest.

That’s why they are extremely hard to scratch unless you rub two diamonds together. But that’s also why a good hammer blow in the right location can cut a diamond in two. You should be careful wearing your ring, because banging it against a sharp object can chip it. Nonetheless, it is far tougher than most other jewels and is well suited to everyday wear.
