As promised, I have more of Tracey Edmonds wearing her 8 carat Fancy Canary Yellow Diamond Ring from Cartier. Tracey Edmonds on Fiance’ Eddie Murphy and His Ex Melanie Brown

Tracey Edmonds is not only a strikingly beautiful and successful businesswoman, she is now a blissful bride-to-be! Only one day before a proposal from noted comedian Eddie Murphy, the future Mrs. Murphy sat down with JET for a candid interview. “Through business and through social networks, I meet a lot of men, but Eddie for me is very, very special. He’s the most interesting man that I’ve ever met,” says Edmonds, former wife of legendary songwriter and producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. “We just connect on so many different levels,” Edmonds says about Murphy. As for the recent paternity test results stating that Murphy is the father of former Spice Girl Melanie Brown’s daughter, Edmonds says, “The Melanie Brown situation had absolutely no impact on my relationship with Eddie.”

Edmonds is the president and COO of Our Stories, she also heads Edmonds Entertainment, a multimillion-dollar company, the brainpower behind BET’s “College Hill.” She also adds, “I’m really focused on building [Our Stories] into a powerhouse studio,” says Edmonds. More on Page 65.
