Gross margins for Retail Jewelers down industry-wide
Idex reports that gross margins are problematic for Jewelers this quarter. Covered in the report are Tiffany, Harry Winston, Birks & Mayors, Finlay, Zale Corporation, Blue Nile, Movado, Sterling Jewelers, and Bidz.com. Birks and Mayors was the only company able to increase gross margins.
