Now that the Eva madness is winding down, the press is looking for another big wedding to talk about. I guess they will have to make do with Superman.

In August 2006, People magazine reported that Brandon Routh, who will be reprising his role as Superman in a sequel, is going to marry Courtney Ford. The couple made a short film, Denial, together. She received a Neil Lane engagement ring. It was probably not a surprise as he was spotted shopping for it.

This part is weird. He used a rock from Stonehenge as the base for the engagement ring. But the way it’s written sounds like HE’S wearing the $42,000 ring. Brandon’s official/unofficial website¹ points out that the engagement did not actually happen at Stonehenge. Was the gesture inspried by Kryptonite? Who knows.
The marriage will be in “a couple of months” stateside. There are some remarks being said here and there that might make you think this is a Tom Cruise style sham wedding, but I don’t think he’s that famous yet to warrant such a ruse. I could be wrong, but I don’t think so.
