We’ve heard our share of weird engagement stories, but this one is pretty “special”. On the big “iDay”, when everyone was out buying an iPhone, one person used his iPhone as an engagement ring!

New York played home to the most romantic iPhone story as a 42-year-old consultant from Manhattan who bought an Apple handset immediately presented his iPhone box to his girlfriend as an engagement ring.

I’d love to see a picture of this. On the other hand, I do understand this fellow on Craigslist wanting to trade his iPhone for an engagement ring on a relationship that went sour. Even the Lexus. But an iPhone?
