Jewelry sales in Saudi Arabia have been growing tremendously in recent years. From $450 million 5 years ago it has grown to$1.2 billion last year. It is in this framework that Arab News reports that the Al-Othaim Group, in partnership with Rosy Blue, will be launching the Omri brand of diamond jewelry.
Plans are afoot to increase sales even more through 80 more showrooms. The group owns 4 jewelry factories, with a workforce of 600 and 20 existing showrooms.
