Russian Diamond Exploration needs to overcome hurdles

Resource Investor has released a detailed report on the current state of Diamond Exploration in Russia. This is not a report for the layman but hard core mining enthusiasts will find it a worthwhile read. To summarize for regular folk, investment is needed to bring new sources up to speed. This is a 10-15 year cycle. Current reserves are being used up. There is no time to waste.

They suggest mineragenic study in Murmansk, Karelia, Irkutsk and Evenk and development of advanced technologies to explore diamonds in closed territories.
