Remember all those crazy ads for eBay that would appear on Google search results? Like you’d search for Catherine Keener, and you’d see an ad saying something like “Searching for Catherine Keener? Find it on eBay!”

Well good news, InfoWorld reports that EBay is pulling its ads from Google’s ad network. Now we can see real ads and those low paying ones by eBay won’t bother us anymore.

This is probably in response to eBay’s new ad initiative and desire to expand. They probably realize that Social Media is a huge threat to them.
