A 216 ct white D colour flawless diamond – bar a small peripheral gletz, a small naturally formed plane in a diamond – was found at the Letseng diamond mine in Lesotho by Gem Diamonds. This follows shortly after the recovery of the Lesotho Promise, a 603 ct white diamond recovered in August 2006.The stone was transported for sale to Antwerp in February and will be tendered for in a parcel that includes two other white D colour flawless stones of 54,9 ct and 30 ct respectively.
