There are reports out of Africa that are beginning to make the rounds about a 7000 carat rough diamond found. That would be more than twice the size of the largest found to date, the Cullinan. The Cape Times is investigating and some of the stories coming out of there don’t jive. So if you hear about this find, don’t get too excited. 10 to 1 this one turns into a false alarm…
Oh well, it would have been fun to see what would happen to such a piece of rough…. At that size you could play soccer with it
