Via Jewelry Weblog comes the information that Brooke Shields is promoting the work of her friend, Ellen Sassa, in Sassa’s jewelry company, Unlocked Secret. They are using the Kabbalah in the Jewelry. Nice touch getting the word “Secret” in there too.

The history of the Kabbalah is interesting. Some well-known scholars (in Jewish circles anyway) have written some controversial papers about K and its authorship.

I know several people on both coasts doing K. It’s getting to be bigger than “The Secret“. But they don’t seem too interested in the scholarly work. They seem to be into it for the camaraderie and the networking.
