If you’re a fan of history, it is interesting to look at the Royal Family. The UK was smart to keep the tradition of Royalty while separating it from politics. But the result is that the Royal Family have become fodder for the thriving business of Paparazzi in much the same way that Paris Hilton & Co. are for the U.S. Pap.

I really enjoyed the movie and it presents the other side of the Diana story… I remember back then thinking that it was sad that the public didn’t try to see things from everyone’s perspective rather than believing solely the slant provided by the media…

We may not hear about it stateside, but the Pap craziness hasn’t ended in England since Diana died. Her boys are now of the age that their dating escapades are all over the papers. The People Newspapers report that Kate Middleton, angry at being dumped publicly in April, has given Prince William an ultimatum. Engagement ring or it’s over. They say he has bought her a glittering Cartier locket and it seems they are on a make it or break it vacation. Some bloggers are speculating that the Prince will propose on this trip using one of Princess Di’s favorite rings as the engagement ring.

I doubt this relationship is going to last…. It is common for men to break up with women, then realize that they miss “something”… and by “something” I mean, youknowwhatimean… So they freak out, do whatever it takes to get back in. Relieve their desires, and before long they suddenly remember again why they broke up in the first place. This is mostly subconscious which is an interesting twist in the whole process.

The only difference in this case is that there is even more pressure on the relationship than there was before because the girl was humiliated in front of her whole country. Relationships are tough in the best of circumstances. Having your every move in all the papers just makes it harder… They can try to open Facebook accounts under pseudonyms, but there are no secrets on the Internet.
