How do I sell my 3.5 ct diamond?

Hi there, I have a 3.5 ct diamond, a big beautiful sparkly ring. Colour grade 2.5 (I) and clarity grade VS2. It's set in 18 k white gold and I have the certification from AGS as well. Retail is $46,000, but I was told I'd get less than market as it is second hand, can anyone advice me on how to sell it, where and how much to ask. (or does anybody want to buy it?) Thanks! |

Hi! Did you try the original jeweler you bought it from? You might do better selling it yourself, but it's an option to look into. You can list an ad for your ring in our Jewelry Classifieds. How to: * Be sure to post all the information as well as clear, close-up photos of the ring, from all angles. *Include "face-up" shots of the diamond. If the photo size can be set in your camera- 640x480 works best- especially if any resizing has to be done. Our system accepts photos no larger than 700 pixels Wide. If your photos are larger than that, "Crop" them rather than "Image sizing"- usually getting rid of extraneous background in the photo is all it takes to make them fit.
