Hi ![]() I absolutely love the round with pave look and the big ring effect. It would be ideal if we could spend 4k TOPS!!! |

I think you could do better here especially since that center stone is less than a carat and basically just slightly over 1/2 carat!!! My advice is get a larger solitaire *( certified ) I have never bought anything from that store .But I can tell you the network jewelers here can probably do better for a larger certified diamond that that! |

I understand. But I am a bit worried that for our budget I wont like the size. I have really big, long fingers, anything looks too small. And with our budget I couldnt get a bigger stone ![]() Do you think that this is particularly a ripp off??? Thanks a lot! |

Hi! The description says the diamonds are I1. Helzberg uses their own grading so that clarity could be more like I1-I2. If you aren't familiar with clarity grades that means the stones are visibly included and dull. I understand you want the ring to have "presence" have you considered using something like a pink, blue, or yellow sapphire as the center stone with a eye popping diamond mounting? My guess is that you could get a gorgeous 1/2 carat certified solitaire for what you can pay and you'll love it . I'd stay far away from mall jewelry stores unless your buying a certified diamond that is GIOA or EGL but my guess is that you'll pay much more theer than here withthe network jewelers. Why not ask what you can get for say $3000- $3500 and go with a simple tiffany mounting.Yeras later you can always remount your solitaire but you'll be disappointed if you get a crummy included diamond that you have to look at forever.
