Hello, This is my first time posting here. I need some help on finding out some information about obtaining a certificate for my diamond. Today I had a diamond removed from a ring I bought for my wife so that it could be set in a solitaire pendant so she can wear it as a necklace. When the jewelery store removed the diamond they noticed that it was laser engraved with some letters and numbers that were followed by the name Antwerp. I took this to mean that my Diamond is from Antwerp and that since it is laser engraved it should most likely have a certificate or be registered somewhere. Am I assuming correctly and if so, can anyone tell me where I might be able to look that information up?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
