I think green stones look great with yellow gold. My vote is for an emerald or better yet a tsavorite garnet for everyday wear.

You could put a yellow radiant in it. We just finished one last week with a halo with yellow gold mounting and white side diamonds.

Depending on who the ring is made by... you may want to leave the awful looking CZ asscher in the ring.

If the ring is made by a quality maker with nice diamonds, it could look nice.

However, most rings sold with a CZ center are lower end commercial quality.

Commercial quality yellow gold rings with halos or micopave can be pretty awful looking all by themselves.

I agree with Jan.......yellow diamonds look wonderful in yellow gold. But like Brian said, just make sure the setting isn't poor quality.
