I am assuming that this is a typo ... $2????

If it is that I will buy it... but I think it probably is a mistake.

No mention of any certification, so its just taking someone's word for color and clarity, and authenticity...
You should probably at best also post "Appraisal certificate" for whatever that is worth.

Thanks 'Maven,' I can take a pic of the certificate if you think that will help. It is not GIA certified, I did already pay for this appraisal form the jeweler's. It's a place called "Nuage Jeweler's" from Illinois. IT's a tough call, I know people like to see the GIA, but it does take more time and $$$, and I just can't afford it now and want to sell. In which case my price is negotiable, as long as it's reasonable. I have had ann offer from a jeweler to buy this piece along with my pendant (pictured in my bubbleshare album, link above) for $2000 cash, so I figure they would only offer such, if they could RE-sell for 2-3 times the amount of the sale. I am also wanting to see other peices, so I can work out a great package deal if someone likes the prices.
Thanks for your feedback!

Hey - i really like this ring! Im selling a 1/2 carat with GIA certification but like yours better.... id be open to buying it if it had better certification- the problem with those appraisals is theyre only done for insurance purposes and not accurate and usually dont even properly grade the diamond prior to mounting.../. it GIA graded it as a G with a VS1 and depending on its cut (at least a very good cut). Id buy it! OH BTW a good alternative to GIA is EGL - they have a 1 week turnaround and it will cost you $75 with return shipping. They're #2 behind GIA.
