An unusual gents ring

This ring was primarily designed by my client to match the set that I made for his fiance earlier this year. They're both engineers and wanted something modern and intricate that they had a hand in designing. My part in this was to clean the designs up, make them suitable for casting and then finish the ring after casting. This one was made of 18K palladium white gold and the pictures of the ring are shown just prior to final polishing with the CAD shots being screen grabs to show the details more clearly. It looks kind of architectural doesn't it ?

Cool Michael,
It know I'm the only one who sees this but it reminds me a little of the Opera House in Sydney...

wow! I'm surprised at home many pieces you are making with gold and palladium. Do your customers ask for this, or do you sell them on this idea. In my opinion it looks much better and saves the cost of having the rhodium plating done again and again. Do you have it casted with only gold and palladium, or do they also mix in some silver with it? I have all my pieces casted with gold/palladium/silver and the color is amazing. Very metallic and shiny and never turns that yellowish color that other 18k white gold turns. Great work Michael!

Ooh, love it. Looks very clean and modern. One of the reasons I love German designers is because of the Bauhaus architectural look they incorporate into their jewelry. You did good
Question about palladium. I'm allergic to white gold and was told it's due to the nickel content. If it's mixed with palladium does that mean there's no nickel and therefore no allergic reaction?
