I'm looking at a .92 marquis, SI2, K in color. I was told that bcuz it has slight blue floresence it looks as white as a G color. (I couldn't tell the difference.) It will be set in white gold w/vs1, G side stones. Is K color OK? Will florescence dull brilliance/fire in daylight?

Rockdoc, this is so often your response to these questions (rightly so!), I think you should get it tattooed on your person somewhere... LOL! Just kidding, just kidding!

That sounds unlikely to me. If you want a G I suggestyou try something closer.

Very good cuts and fluorescence can make a diamond appear to have less color than an average cut diamond of that color, but what if you want the look of a well cut G, not an average G? Then the color wouldn't be fully compensated for because the well cut G would look whiter than G.
