Hello,

I read these postings quite often and I already have learned a lot. In theory.... Now I want to practice a bit.
After returning to Europe, I got two offers (both the same price) with certificates of HRD/Antwerp for similar stone. Though they have many thing in common (0.56 ct, round brilliant, lf, F, no fluorescence, prop/finish vg/vg) they vary in the proportion quite a lot. And I am not sure, which one is the better one. Or perhaps both are not so well cut?

Number one:
measurements: 5.46-5.50 X 3.13 mm
girdle: 2.5 %
table: 65%
cr. height: 11%
pav. depth: 44%

Number two:
measurements: 5.33 - 5.40 X 3.30 mm
girdle: 2%
Table: 58%
cr. height: 14,5%
pav. depth: 45%

I am tending towards stone number two, but isn't it a bit deep?
Many thanks in advance...

The proportions on number 2 are much
better IMO.

Number two sounds like a nicer cut, but I wasn't aware that HRD has an IF rating.
As far as I know they refer to the top grade as LC for Loupe Clean. Has this changed?
