Finally a pix of my rings!

Here are a couple of photos of my diamond rings, the way I wear them (all the time!). My mother's RB solitaire - don't know the spec's, but over 2 carats with nice sparkle, with 2 tiny side baguettes. Worn with my new eternity ring: 3.5 c's, H-I, VS 1 and II. I'll follow with my sapphires (soon, hopefully) which are a RHR and a small pendant. |

Wow, that set is a knockout!!! Very beautiful.....and very big! How old is your Mom's ring? I love the setting, very classic. And I love your diamond band with it. They go perfect together! I'm glad you wear them all the time........I wear my rings all the time too (unless cleaning or something). It's nice to enjoy them every day.

Thanks, Foxy! The ring was actually my grandmother's, bought in the 50's, which she gave to my Mom around 1970. I was thrilled when my mother gave it to me recently. I do love them. However....my secret desire is for a 5-carat EC someday - probably will never happen, but that was always the cut I thought the most elegant. That's why I love this site -- checking out all the beauties! I'm glad you wear yours all the time, too. Confession - even cleaning, I wear them -- uh, oh.

Oh! My heart is pounding! Drop dead gorgeous set! Family heirlooms are the best!!!! I am waiting for my mom to give me the 3+ ct marquise from my grandmother that just sits in the safe deposit box at present. These look perfect on you! |

titania, Yeap just about everyone..especially the OEC's, heart shaped, cushion cut ones to me. I always wanted a 1ct heart shaped diamonds with two ruby pears one on each side...*sigh* but they are SOO hard to find with an excellent cut. So maybe in a few years lol Thanks for sharing! My MIL also has a whopping 2ct stone too... although not nearly as nice as yours. She decided to go with size over cut/clarity or color...ugh. But you know she's a happy chap! So as my husband says let her ignorence be bliss. Besides since we moved so far away I dont see her very often. Once a year max maybe. |

What a beautiful ring to inherit! It looks perfect with that GAWGEOUS eternity band! Thanks for getting pics up for us to see and DROOL! I wear one of my rings cleaning too....so don't feel bad.  Actually, it keeps my diamonds clean..................I am veeery careful though!~Ronda

Abklion, wouldn't I love to see a pic of that marquis that's just waiting for you! Bila, I love the OEC's too -- great style ya got there! Snooper, I adore your rings and drool at them whenever I need a fresh shot of eye candy! Luvn -- glad there's a fellow cleaner out there - would gloves help during housework and dishes?? And I am a fellow sapphire-lover (birthstone!) and love your collection a lot. |
