1930s-40s Floral Motif Diamond Ring

I fell in love with this ring when a dealer at the antique mall I work at brought it in. After two solid days of whapping my sweetie over the head with absolutely un-subtle "hints" he broke down and bought it for me, what a good guy. Glad he did- I would have bought it anyway! For being under $250, I get tons of compliments on it at work; the setting is really unique. It is a bit worn- the millgrain is gone in some places, but it just adds to the antique feel IMO. The diamonds are warmer- probably J or K color, but actually pretty decent clarity... I couldn't spot any inclusions with a loupe, but I'm no expert either. I would guess it's about 1/3 carat total weight. (Never appraised of course). |
