Triple Heart Truffle

This design was for a client wanting a triple heart ring in a truffle design. The first couple of pictures are renderings and the next post will have pictures of the actual ring. This used two 5mm heart shaped aquamarines on the sides, (cutting hearts drives me nuts and trying to get a matched pair of aqua's that were dark enough to show as being blue just about put me over the edge

). The center is a very pale CZ, (I'd have liked to have used tourmaline, but it's a 10mm stone and would have been significantly more expensive).

In these pictures you can see how I added two prongs at the ends of the small outside hearts. I felt that with the size of the stones and the small size of the chevron prong on the points that the added prongs needed to be there to protect the stone from damage. Came out pretty well I think.
