Art Car Parade

Well its kind of a slow Saturday here as we have our street closed for an Art Car Parade. What is an Art Car Parade, you ask? Well sit back and take in a few of the contestants that I shot from our window at work. The second and third photos show one of my favorites... the Sofa Car Kinda reminds me of an old Candid Camera skit or something. |

Brian, thanks for sharing!! I definately don't ever have this kind of view from my window!! I don't think I need to let DH see the picture of the sofa car...he might get some ideas... At least you have entertainment when business is slow today!! |

Ha ha ha, those pictures are funny! Saturday is slow here also, haircut for me this morning (yipee! Mommy gets a few hours away!) and now my husband is playing golf - his pay for watching the kids this morning. My favorite is the guy who is in the dinosaur. He looks like he is skiing. And what is the woman on the cork truck thinking? That her cork costume will protect her from injury should she happen to fall? |

HAHA cool pics!!! My parents keep asking me to visit them in MN, so perhaps I'll do it next year at this time to see that Car Parade!!! |

That looks like an interesting parade! Do they do that every year? If I had that sofa car or bed car, I would be afraid of getting too comfy while driving.............~Rond a |

Hi All, Yes, they have the parade every year about this time of July. It has been a very hot and dry summer so far up here in the upper midwest. Brian |
