That is cool! I had an arrow shape tanzanite that I bought at a gemshow. I picked a setting, had it set, and two days later while I was at worked the stone caught on the edge of file cabinet and sheered off the top of the stone

! I was extremely bummed! I love tanzanite...but becareful how you set it, especially in a ring setting. I would do a really cool pendant! ~Ronda

Trying to set a stone of that shape and softness in a ring would be not only expensive but risky also. Who knows, I may think of reselling it. Not sure though since it's such an unusual color!! May trade for a super dark neon blue (which is a more common color).
