I am a PA resident who collects gem stones and jewelry. I usually make my best finds (deals) at a pawn shop. Last deal was my 4 carat white diamond tennis bracelet, picked that one up at only $750.00!!! I also check out gem shows when I get a chance, sometimes you can find deals there also.

Here are some samples of my gem stone collection. I am addicted! LOL
(btw, pics out of focus. My digital does not compare to my slr film camera, it may be easy to upload pics to internet, but it sure does suck when it comes to close ups! Gonna have to break out the OM-10 film and take some GOOD pics with it and scan them in!)

Hello, Scstables! Wow, your stones are beautiful. Can you give details on the stones?

Hi!

Sorry this is late Sadie!

Since the spring I have added more great stones to my collection, including two ceylon padpadradscha sapphires (one a pear shape 9x7 at 1.86 cts and the other a 8.2 x 7.2 square at 1.56 cts) a nice blue zircon, several blue green tourmalines, a large oval aquamarine and a black star sapphire.

I will highlight what I have in the pic above - I don't have all the measurements memorized, will get those later. Top pic, top row from left to right: 8 x 6 1.75 carat ruby (from NC), 8 x 6 North Carolina emerald, a pink spinel, a blue spinel, a 7 x 5 raspberry red spinel, a 6+ carat star ruby, bottom row: a fire opal, a tourmaline, a 14 x 10 london blue topaz, next three: cushion cut topaz, and the last two a blue and a pink topaz.

Next picture top row left to right: a pink tourmaline, a quantum cut citrine, a 9 x 7 blue green sapphire, a light colored columbian emerald, bottom row two heart shaped tourmalines, and two ametrines.
