NYC Area Appraiser?

Hello! Can anyone recommend a good NYC area appraiser? I tried the one advertised here, Manhattan Appraisals, but they completely ignored my requests for an appointment. Sent emails and tried to call. I guess they don't want my business. I need to have my engagement ring appraised for insurance purposes. Thanks for the help! Sue |

Hi WebGal, I did check them out...they have a form on their webpage to fill out if you want an appointment. I filled it out almost 2 weeks ago. No response. I emailed them at the email address provided on their website. No response. I called them. No response. The website says they get back to you within 24hrs. Apparently they don't want any new business. That's why I posted here asking if anyone knew of any other appraisers in the NYC area who won't completely ignore me. Thanks! :-) Sue |

HI Sue, I sincerely apologize if you did not get a reply from our website. Manhattan Appraisers has moved to a much better and secure location at 62w 47th street after having a disastrous flood at the old office 43w 47th street. It is no excuse for not getting back to you; I just wanted to let you know possibly why you did not get a reply. I am sure you have gotten an appraisal by now, however if you have not, I would be glad to accommodate you with a 30% discount for the inconvenience.
