Is this diamond too "shallow"?

Hi, I'm new to this forum and to diamonds in general. I'm shopping for an engagement ring center stone and this is what I was offered. It looks pretty nice in store lighting and it looks bigger than .80 because of it's "shallow" cut. Also, it looked pretty crisp and sparkly in the store. But I read on this forum that a shallow cut doesn't have the same sparkle. It costs about $2800, but I am more concerned with the look than cost since I'll be wearing it for a long time (I hope).
Below are the specs from the GIA certificate and picture. I would appreciate any wise words. Thanks!

Round Brilliant
0.80 carat
6.20-6.24 x 3.53 mm
Depth: 56.8%
Table: 66%
Girdle: thin to med
Culet: very small
Polish: very good
Symmetry: good
Clarity: SI1
Color: E
Crown angles are less than 30 degrees

The preceding form was filled out on our Ask Forum page.

Keep walking. You can do better.

Stay away from too deep or too shallow stones.

There are plenty of diamonds with good to excellent cut that deserve your attention. See the attached graphic.

Thank you for your feedback. That's what I thought.

Do any of these look good? http://sunjewelry.com/rounds.html

This place is making the ring for me, here's the ring design: http://sunjewelry.com/er3191.html. I was thinking of getting a center stone of about a carat (maybe a bit less). It may be convenient to get to get it from the same jeweler, but I am a bit concerned with his first suggestion. Do you think his stones/prices look reasonable? Any specific suggestions on which ones to take a look at?

I really appreciate all your help!!!
