Marquise head for ring - need something softer
Quote this post and reply to it Post#1 @ 08-08-05 , 05:20 PM

Hi everyone
I love my engagement ring setting, but when we picked it out it was 'headless' and the only head offered for a marquise was a 6 pronger. My diamond is 1.25 cts and this head makes it protrude very far and it's just super-pointy. I'd love something lower and with softer edges, like a tulip head. Anyone know where to buy just heads of this sort? Or can anyone direct me to photos of various marquise heads?
Thanks

You should probably go to a jeweler. They can get a tulip head for you and install it as well.

yup, Stuller makes a really pretty tulip head, and most any jeweler can get it...good luck!
