Overall, I'm pleased but glad this process is over. Here are some pictures, not that great but the best I could do...I was expecting the chain to be a bit less "petite", but oh well...I'm not going back.

I had given the jewler a pict of this chain (below)...but I guess they had cost savings (for them) in mind...oh, well...I just hope I don't break the chain and lose the diamond!

Don't know if you can tell, but the swirls on the side profile are yellow gold to sort of match my e-ring.

My rubies do glow! They seem to do that more with a flash but they are pretty much that color in real life too.

pkarhu, I think it's very nice with the new halo.

If you're not happy with the chain, can't they change it for you? I like both the chains you showed, but if you showed them a picture and they got it wrong, then shouldn't they fix it til you're happy.

Thanks everyone for the complements...boy, it sure looks yellow in those picts but it's GIA graded G color...hmmmm. Perhaps down the road, I'll get a heavier weight chain, as I have a gut feeling that they would charge me more to have a different chain...my husband (IF he remembers) is supposed to call them, BB&B, to what the deal is with the chain...

BTW, I actually wanted it to look like an eye...hehehe! That's just weird ol' me for ya...

Gorgeous!!...great photos too! I love the setting and I have to agree with you about the chain. I like the chain better in your "inspiration" pic. You seem to spend quite a bit of $$ with them...but for some reason..they never quite get things they way you want them?? I reeeeally think they should follow through with what you want. I am sure you are not a difficult person. Just my opinion...but if they don't follow through...I would take my business elsewhere. ~Ronda

luvnjewelry, thanks! I do, well DID, tend to spend a bunch of $$$ there at BB&B and to be honest, I don't want to do business with them anymore. They really did try to regain my trust and business with them here lately when I threatened to pick up my stuff when I got RIDICULOUS price quotes from them.

When I got this pendant back finished yesterday and saw the chain, my faith in them has been lost and I really just want to forget about them and move on.

Any other major jewelry pieces I buy in the future will most likely be through one of the DT vendors (but I don't think it will be for a while). This last year or so with all the thousands I've spent on jewelry, I'm a bit over it. But I do still love to look at other's and dream...

Parkhu..I understand. You seems like such a nice person...I could see where they would try to "take advantage" of you. I have seen that chain that you want several times when I was in Florida recently. It is not as hard to find as one would think. Do you think you could find one, bring it to them and have them knock some $$ off and put the right thing on no charge? Just a thought...I know the mommy/work role comes first. Well, I *hope* I'm a nice person, hehehe! Actually, my husband is the true nice person, to be perfectly honest. I think that if I were to go to that store again i just might explode!

I am a very analytical perfectionist (I know, very bad but good for my job!), but I can't change who I am. I expect near perfection when I pay the prices I have been with them and when they disappoint me...well, this has been one time too many for me.

Sometime in the future, I'll get that chain I originally wanted,...and not from BB&B. Need to concentrate more on the family and not so much *bling, bling* worries...

I'm sorry you're not happy with your chain but it looks lovely! If it doesn't bother you too much I wouldn't worry about it but if you're going to think about it every time you wear it than I would go back to BBB one last time. I don't think it would be that big of a deal to change the chain. Do you?

Either way, the most important aspect of the piece is the halo and diamond and it looks great! Now you have an extra "eye" to see bling!! hehehe
