This is just my opinion, but...
>>1. I know with time CZ become chalky. How long does it take since it is just bought from the store?<<
This is more related to how good a care you take of the stone...Since CZ is not as hard as diamond, poor care will result in degradation of quality faster...
>>2. Is there a way to avoid this or repair it?<<
Not really...even if you take good care of it, this will only prolong the beauty, but eventually the quality will downgrade...
>>3. CZ somethimes looks better than a true diamond to me, looks whiter, is this true?<<
Well...it's easy to get a "good quality" cz...just like you won't see flaws in glass, you won't see flaws generally speaking in cz...but...cz doesn't sparkle like diamond, or last as long...It kind of "sees thru"...I find diamond much more beautiful than cz.
>>4. Can a very beautiful golden ring setting help a zirconia look better, whiter , more shiny?<<
A setting can have a tremendous effect on any stone, diamond or CZ...
