Does anyone know approx. how much it would be to replace a watch crystal due to scratches, specifically a Michele CSX watch? Thanks |

Thanks, Irish. I should have thought of calling them directly :P Well, I found one, but I don't know if it will be cost effective or worth the time to replace the crystal, if it's possible. The price of the watch is just under $600 and for a few hundred more I can get a new one, so I probably won't end up getting the used one. Thanks! |

Kandry, check out the cost before you walk away. My recollection is that a crystal replacement isn't hugely expensive...Good luck and let me know if you get it. I was looking at their website after I posted that info...sigh...I love those watches.. Irish |

Irish, I ended up buying a brand new CSX Diamond watch with stainless band for $800 on ebay (retail $1095 or something). It's really nice, but let me tell you what happened. I went to Nordstroms to buy an additional band and to get the stainless band sized, and I told the sales person that I wish that I had gotten the Deco watch instead. Then she said that I could trade it for the Deco if I wanted to, since I had all of the paperwork to go with the watch and it was brand new! So I ended up getting a credit of 1095 to upgrade to the Deco watch!  I got a sand aligator strap plus a patent burgendy strap and only had to pay a difference of about $160 (including tax). Cool, huh?-K |
