I got this ring from Ziamond, and the stone was ugly, so I sent it back and they replaced the stone for another ugly one. I'm selling this ring if you want to use the mounting, which is quite nice.

This mounting is 14K white gold, cathedral style, with a basket head that holds a 7X7mm stone. Thickness is 3mm at the top and a tad under 2mm at the bottom. Setting is solid and the profile looks nice. This would look gorgeous with a princess, square or asscher stone!

I paid $295 for this ring, but since the stone is no good, I'm willing to let it go for $80 plus $5 shipping. Please email me for details.

I agreed to trade this for another ring with another DTer. Negociations are still in progress... I will post when they finalize.

I have a pair of ziamond studs I rather like.

Which ring is that one? Not the Sex and the City "inspiration" Ring? That's an asscher ... I thought...

Yup! That is the smaller of the two Sex and The City inspiration rings. The stone kind of looks like an asscher, except asschers have more pronounced corner facets. This is a square emerald cut.

OHMYGOSH.... That looks NOTHING like the ring on their website. Their ring looks like an asscher, like my "asscher" earring studs I bought from them. No WONDER they don't list that ring under their "asscher" rings. I always wondered about that.

From your pics, the stone you have looks more like a SQUARE/STEP cut than even a square emerald cut or asscher.

You know, one of WINK's interlap asschers would look GREAT in that setting. I'd bet you he could do it for you, if you wanted. I've already got one of his stones in a ring, and it's SSOOOO georgous. You may want to contact him and see what he can do. That does look like a nice setting... (or, to who ever buys the setting... contact wink for a way better center stone!) Good luck either way and thanks for answering my question, I kept wondering if I should order that ring from ziamond... glad I didn't!!

Yeah, your are right, it is a square step cut, definetly not an asscher.

I already have one Interlap Asscher ring. I sent a private message to another member once to ask her something about the ring in one of her photos, and she replied answering, and she told me she was planning to sell it, so I got it from her and have wron it everyday since. I love it! Interlap stones are so pretty!

Anyway, this ring went today to its new home! Thank you Buyer!
