Hello my Name is Daniele J. I have seen your website and it is very intersting. I am in the Carbusiness for Luxuscars like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, KOENIGSEGG .. Thatfore i have prestige Customers. One Customer from me, search for Rough Diamonds for buying, but such in Europe - Germany. He pays after inspecting. Nothing before, because he lost money with people from Africa. He needs ca. 3000 ct. I search for a real, correct and seriös contact. It is very difficult to find a Real contact. If you can do Business on this way, or you can help me, than contact me so fast as possible. Thanks Daniele J |

You want the jewelers on here to post where they get their rough diamonds from? Yikes.... Maybe we could get their customer list, with the names and addresses as well

Re: Rough Diamonds
africana, you are responding to a thread that is two years old. I'm sure this poster, having only posted one time in two years, is not reading the DT forum anymore.

Re: Rough Diamonds
and further africana, you are not a Consumer. We expect our members to register as Trade when they are here representing any level of the diamond trade, which you do. Please send an email to our webmaster@DiamondRing.com , requesting a status change. Irish

remiss of me, thank you.
Being new to all this, one is undoubtedly going to make a few errors. However if I have inadvertently put your noses out of joint I do apologise... But I make the point that being a small alluvial mine owner, hardly qualifies me as [trade] but more as an independent trying to learn as I go along, as the saying goes, [a little knowledge is dangerous] and I will make errors, but only once............... It is seems quite apparent that information in this area is closed shop, you therefore push people into areas where they would much rather not be...but if you leave them no other choices.............I do not know what you really expect of them. but thank again for the education... |

hello bluewhite
I would like to talk freely and openly without any restrictions, however I am not sure what restrictions are placed upon one vis this site, and having obviously upset some people once I have no wish to do so again in ignorance.. If you would like to come back with some suggestions as to how we can talk freely and privately, I would be quite happy to talk and see where we go.... Are you operating out of Jo´burg, Capetown,? I spent some years in Rhodesia, so know your area and the locals quite well.... |

Well lets chat till we ruffel some feathers. I'm a rough dealer who also manufactures. The goods that don't polish gets exported to India like all the 0.80's and down. I buy everything from a vvs to absolute junk. I like to do everything by the book so all the paperwork and Kimberly process stuff needs to be in order, and thats about that....oh yes a good point to mention is that i'm also backed financially by fairly big diamond company so any amount of rough that can be supplied can be bought without hassel, and thats it! |

O.K. lets see what happens
My problem is that where we are mining is very basic,..not even that..pits are dug down to the alluvial bed some thirty feet, and the gravel is hauled out by hand in buckets, there is no electricity, etc, and it needs developing with deisal generators, pumps, etc, when the rains come, the pits fill up and the boys are diving down to the bottom and filling up the buckets for as long as they can hold their breath... Pretty damned dangerous, so I ve stopped that they yeild as you can imagine is quite small with most of the stuff coming out not fit for anything but industrial. So it get flogged locally to sustain food and the usual staple diets required.. but occassionally something reasonable comes out... I am probably looking at initially at 40 odd carats, as I said its a very small operation at present... I need to get a fair price, or have it cut and polished and sell it as finished items That in itself causes problems in that I would have to find someone who is going to be absolutely straight, and not start changing good for bad... Once I can start generating some reasonable cash to start getting equipment out there then hopefully one anticipates an upsurge in production (small snigger there)...as if you saw the way its being done you would probably fall over and expire in mirth... Gem quality that has come out is in the realm of vs1 and a couple of nice vvs..but you never know whats around the corner. So the fact that we are so small, one step removed from the stone age would probbaly suffice as description, will I hope not discourage you, but atthis stage of the game I do not want to mislead you... Have you got a phone number I could call you on and chat?? Regards.. Africana. |

Firstly let me tell you that i know a guy who was in the same position as you. He had exhausted all his capital and was living in a trailer on his digings. He loaned $1000 from a friend of mine for diesel for machinery and had one last attempt before he would be on the streets. To make a long story short at 10:30 that night he pulled out a 250ct d vvs stone that debeers bought from him for a staggering amount. (he wasted it all in the end) but your bigone might just be waiting there. By the way in what country are you digging in? |

mmm yeah
someone near us hauled out a 30 carat crystal took it to town and offered it to a dealer, when he refused the offer (which was a rip off) he called in a couple of his police cronies the guy was too quick for them, he tossed it out the rear window where one of his mates was waiting who grabbed it and took off.. The dealer was really pissed... As I am sure you know there are some really lovely people out there... which is why I am going slowly and cautiously, until I can test the water, and establish trust. |

|
an after thought...
why is it?? when some of these guys get lucky and make a killing, they just waste it? time and again it seems to happen, they just seem to go mad... weird man..... |

It's greed that rules thoese types of people. They'll never be happy. Anyway if you pull out a 30.00 carat and its clean and white show me first.....i'll put a smile on your dial |
