hi all, ive lurked around DT for a while, but am very new to WT!! I just got engaged on christmas eve and i am starting the never ending process of planning. i want november of 2005 for my wedding. i read in a bridal magazine about instead of number your tables, you should give them names. i.e. paradise island. so im wondering if any of you guys out there could help me come up with names for tables. its a fall wedding and i am sticking w/ that "theme" throughout. with the flowers and dress colors, etc. thanks in advance!!
You could use sayings like "Autumn Wind" "Fall Foliage", etc. or go with the names of leaves from different types of trees (Ash, Maple, Elm, Oak, Willow Oak, etc.) and incorpoarte those types of leaves into your centerpieces, table top design, favors, invitations, etc.
This could be a fun and meaningful project for you to begin gathering and pressing leafs.
Have fun planning your wedding and DO NOT let anyone cause you undo stress. It's all about you that day, so go girl!
I just got engaged X-eve too!

Exotica--i love autumn weddings! i got married 11/6/1999 (2nd time around) and my bouquet was an arm bouquet of stargazers, willow, wheat, &Persian lillies tied with burgundy, gold and silver streamers (the colors i used)
In addition to the tree names, you could add "posh" sounding suffixes, like "Willow Glen" "Oak Haven" etc et
