Moissanite is a simulant, not a lab-created diamond. It has a greenish tinge according to most people.

http://www.betterthandiamond.com has a line called Takara which is a man made diamond (pure carbon). I think they are doing yellows and just starting blues, with white some time away yet.

I have seen the yellows and they look quite good, but do have "zoning" under magnification so they are not a foolproof substitute to the trained eye.

There are many brands of simulants, CZ's etc. You can search DT for those words and get a lot of material to read.
