Hi All-

Does anyone know of a "trusted" place in Sacramento, CA that they can recommend to mount my fiance's diamond? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Since her finger is really small, we've decided to mount it on a simple solitare. The stone is 3/4 carat. I want to take it to a place that I can trust. Any suggestions?

My fiancee and I had a wonderful time speaking with the staff at Kenny G & Co. in Elk Grove. We almost had our diamond set there but I decided on a custom setting instead. Kenny G does not offer any custom setting options. What you see in the display case is what they have but that have LOTS to look at! Since you plan on a solitaire setting, they do offer a variety of heads that you can set the stone in and they will try to accomadate your requests. The setting fee is minimal and the person we spoke with explained that we'd be present for the setting of the diamond. Basically, the diamond wouldn't ever really leave our sight and we could watch the jeweler set it. The staff was very friendly and they offer quite a good customer service package. We had a great impression of the staff and the store but they just didn't offer what I desired. It WOULD NOT be a waste of time to go and speak with the people there. Please go to their website for the store location.

BTW, is your diamond GIA certified and engraved?
