If someone seriously wanted pink diamonds set as side stones for their e-ring, they could try Thai gems. I know they have enhanced pink diamonds, around .05 carats or 5 points for about $68. per stone. If one is buying a great diamond, putting it in, for example a Cartier style setting, and really wanted pink diamonds, even though these are *enhanced* pink, I'm sure they would look wonderful.

.05 diamonds well cut would be just as lovely as .05 white diamonds with the same flash.

Thai gems doesn't have such a terrific reputation here on DT win. I don't have any personal experience with them but this is what I have read. Do a search and perhaps you'll come up with something.

I'd not buy a Thai gem for a center stone, but for smaller, sidestones or the tiny chanel set stones, I think I would be hard pressed to find the imperfections of a VS in a 5 point stone. I'm sure under a microscope, they could be found, but naked eye, or even 30x loupe it might be hard.

I may be incorrect in this assumption; but I was just thinking if anyone wanted all genuine stones; it might be an option.

I don't think it's just quality that people complain of...it's the service too, if I remember correctly.

This was the place where i found the irr blue stones I am considering next to a rbc sapphire as a side stone, to replace the blue interlaps in the future.

I will do a search on DT when that time comes to see customer test. about these guys, their website seems solid and their terms seem ok.
