Today I received my ring from Dirt Cheap Diamonds (http://www.dirtcheapdiamonds.com ). I am overwhelmed. I love it!!
I don't even know where to begin about how great they are. When I say "they" I suppose I really mean Jim Schultz, the proprietor, with whom I worked on my ring.
From the very start, he was the absolute greatest - I told him exactly what I was looking for and what my budget was, and he went far beyond the call of duty in responding to my needs and advising me extensively about the whole process.
We found a positively brilliant stone. I attach a picture so you can see what the ring looks like. This is a very beautiful 1 carat princess. The price was outstanding. It was a dynamite deal.
Jim offers not only highly personalized service, but the best prices anywhere. I searched far and wide, found that DCD definitely has the best prices. What is so stunning about them is that they also offer fantastic personal service as well. I had not expected to find both factors together in one place.
The diamond that Jim and I found actually wound up being at a wholesaler in my local area. He had her send it to him first, so he could inspect it, and he was pleased. Then, to allow me the chance to see the diamond before buying it, to make the whole process a little faster, and to even save me a little money on shipping, as if I weren't doing well enough already - he sent it back to her and arranged for me to drop by the wholesaler and look at it with her (he knew her personally through the industry and was able to arrange this, though things don't usually work this way - she is in the wholesale industry, and does not really show/sell stones to the general public). When I approved it, she had it set in a ring and it was ready for pickup the same day that the bank wire cleared.
Anyway, I can't say enough good things about him. Honest - superb advice - absolutely no pressure whatsoever - this is a guy who is going to do what he can to get you a deal you will be very happy with. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else.
