Do you have a favorite look in a diamond ring, if so add a pic.I know all you girls are up to it. |

This is my favorite look. Antique style, low-set stones. This was my grandmother's ring. |

Here is another favorite look. I bought a transitional cut .62 J color VVS1 diamond at a pawn shop in an ugly men's ring. I designed this ring with the help of a jeweler and it was relatively inexpensive collaboration. I picked a stock 14K design from a catalogue. This mounting was $110, and I spent less than $100 to have the jeweler set the diamond and add a few more gold beads (actually small gold columns) around the head of the ring to make it look more balanced. |

This is one of my favorites. After I saw this ring for the first time, I couldn't get it out of my mind. In some ways, this ring is quite iconic. |

RE : Post your favorite diamond look.
You ladies have such good taste.Well, got to go take a catnap.

My favorite diamond look...
I admire the detailed engraved settings of the edwardian period, but my favorite look is the timeless, classic platinum mounting with a baguette on either side. This was perhaps influenced by my mom, who had a 1.5 round with a .25 baguette on either side. |
|
|
I like that style too, diamondangel. It also gives me warm memories of my mother, as her engagement ring had a 1 carat round brilliant with a baguette on each side, mounted in platinum. She got married in 1951. I wonder if that was the most popular style in the Fifties as well as the Tiffany solitaire setting? |

RE : Post your favorite diamond look.
I love that ring, Itbit! I think my all-time favourite is an emerald cut eternity band. There's just something so elegant about it! |

I love that eternity band look, too. I do wonder though whether such an eternity band would be comfortable to wear (rubbing against the sides of the neighboring fingers?) It is amazing how many great, diverse, jewelry styles there are. Guards are fun because you can easily radically transform your ring style! |

I love the diamond bezel on this ring but the band doesn't thrill me. I would love to find a similar ring with a more delicate band. |

My favorite. Fay Cullen... She has this ring with white diamonds in the center, but for this design, I prefer the yellow!

Here's my favorite (other than the one I already have) ![]() I'd LOVE to have this ring some day. |

Sixy, baby- you will have to cut off my finger to get that Van Cleef & Arpels ring. Or maybe we should just wrestle for it?
|
|
|
Can't we just both buy one and not stand next to each other at parties Pookarina? I'd even be willing to have a sapphire as my center stone if it would help! HHMMMM house or ring, house or ring? |
