We are in the market for a diamond. Looking at .8 points approximately, f-h color, and vs1 or vs2, etc.. we dont have a lot of money, but want a pretty stone. It will be set in a solitare like setting (which we are looking for also). Any recommendations on sites like bluenile? other online sites? are they less expensive?

I learned a lot at www.diamondhelpers.com. He rated some of my favorite online diamond retailers. He suggests www.uniondiamond.com , www.bluenile.com , www.mondera.com , www.diamondsafe.com and www.diamonds.com
Good luck!

Cindy

I like to look on

www.goodoldgold.com

It's easy to use, and has a variety of stones with their certs and prices.

He also gets high marks from DTers...

We started off looking at Blue Nile, after being turned off by jewelers in our immediate area.
Blue Nile is not the best deal you can get. Also, steer clear from Fred Cuellar.
We wound up purchasing from www.diamondbrokersoffl.co m and they were wonderful, they worked within our budget and we got a high quality diamond. www.goodoldgold.com is also an excellent site and has lots of information to learn from.
Check out the Customer Testimonials section of this site (here) and read about all the good diamond sellers who post regularly here on Diamond Talk.
Good luck!
