Hello DT! My work-related interests are...I'm a Programmer/Analyst My fun-related interests are...riding our Harley, reading, making jewelry, Husband and 3 dog. My jewelry-related interests are...making jewelry - beading necklaces, bracelets using reals stone, sterling silver. When I get better, I'll use gold. Regards, fenderprincess |

OK, I should have used a spell checker. That sounds really illiterate. I have 3 dogs and use real stones, not plastic beads. At least I spelled Harley correctly. Apologies

fenderprincess - I was at a gem show over the weekend and one of the demonstrations was metalcraft. She was doing a pierced celtic cross. It looked very interesting and I'm going to a meeting of the local gemstone and rockhound club. Welcome aboard. I may be posting to ask you some jewelry making questions. |

Mattyboo - Hello! Ask away. If I don't have the answer, I'll try to find one. I haven't gotten into the metal working part as of yet, but that's my next step. Of course, I have to get past my husband's fear of me with power tools, fire, etc. !!!!

Fenderprincess - The best part in talking to this group was the fact that you can play with all of their tools before deciding which ones you "need" to buy. I'm excited at the thought of learning something new. Thanks for your generous offer of help too. |
