Hi everyone,

Just wondering if people would be willing to participate in a little poll. I am trying to gather information on printed wedding invitations. If possible, please answer the following questions. If you don't want to go into specifics.. that is ok. I have no affiliation with any printing companies, but you don't need to specify where you got your invitations.

1. Aproximately how many wedding invitations did you, or are you planning to order?

2. How much did you spend, or how much are you planning to spend?

3. In your invitations, were you or are you able to to customize the entire invitation, or pick from samples and customize the lettering and wording?

4. Were you happy with how they turned out? In other words, did you run into problems with typesetting, misspellings.. etc?

5. Were the RSVPs accurate? In other words, did the same number of people show up as the number that RSVP'd?

6. What was or will be the approximate production time?

Thanks in advance to everyone who participates. My g/f (soon to be fiance once the ring arrives ) has been patiently awaiting for a proposal and has been researching wedding info, so I'm trying to help her out. She knows a proposal will come eventually, but doesn't know when..

Don't keep her waiting too long!!! I've been married just over four years, but I'll try with the questions:
1. 250
2. I don't remember...
3. I could pick or customize-- I picked and changed a few things.
4. No problems with them at all
5. The RSVP is NEVER acurate-- friends told me not to bother, but I did and now I tell people not to bother!
6. production time? Engaged in late August, married the next June.

I mail ordered my invites from one of those many companies and had a great experience-- much less expensive than the local shops. I did the same with the napkins. No problems with spelling or anything (And my first name has an unusual spelling).

After the proposal, share the popping the question story! Those are always so much fun! Good luck!

1. 150
2. don't remember exact amount
3. yes
4. no problems with misspellings. I was satisfied with everything.
5. I'm sure the number of guests showing up for the reception won't be accurate.
6. It took less than 1 week.
