Here are some pictures I took of my diamond (except the first which was taken by Jonathan). They're the best I could get. Yes Herb, your little man now has another friend!! The diamond is .60ct H VVS2 SuperbCert.

The 1st picture really shows how crappy the bezel looks. I will have it reset in the future.

Very pretty! Sigh. It's a shame about that half-bezel; I really like that style.

Yeah the new pictures really show the crappy bezel, but quite a beautiful diamond.

Your camera takes good pics!!

Even if the ring looks shabby, that diamond is beautiful enough to detract away from it!! Congrats on your beautiful stone! =o)

I don't blame you one bit for being upset about the setting -- a spectacular stone like yours merits only the very best. Still, the diamond is SO beautiful, it far outshines the flaws in the bezel (but I certainly understand replacing it)!

Marriahlyn, it is a beautiful diamond.

Oh Jaime!

Your stone is gorgeous! Lucky You!

You'll find another style setting you like even better than this one later. We all do! And you'll have a good reason to change! Just think you won't have to justify!

Love it! Enjoy...

Your so right about finding a new setting you love more. I myself have fallen in love with the Vatch royal crown, LOL!

And B.A., which images were you refering to?

My dear Marriahlyn,

Now I can see the problem with the bezel, but let me tell you that this is a cosmetic thing that can be fixed very easy.
The bezel is not crooked, the set of the stone was not finished with a bezel cut to trim all the burrs.
Your stone was set but the setter didn't cut to clean the bezel with a engraver tool, all this irregularities that you see inside the bezel must be cut and trimmed very nice with an engraver tool and your ring will look much better, this is the way it must be done.
This lip that you see thicker in one side is that, just a lip that can be trimmed and make a nice bezel cut to your setting.
Sure some here have some good setter or even an engraver that can help you, I could do it free for you but is very risky to send your diamond just to fix this.

Thanks for the advice Juan. I have decided that I want my diamond set in prongs anyway. The picture doesn't show how crooked the bezels really are it's worse that it looks and the diamond looks teeny tiny in the bezel. I can't go into the jewelers store anymore as I caused a big scene and he made me leave On top of everything the ring I believe is size 1/2 size smaller than I wanted and if my fingers swell any, I can't even get it on. I will set a colored stone (either ruby or saphire) in this setting and have it fixed then.
