hi i am new to this and i just wanted to see if i could get some help to identify this ring i purchased it at an estate sale and for some reason it caught my attention it has about 5 numbers or letters i cant make them out and at the end it says PLAT it is a very old ring and has what appears to be a ruby stone in it with two smaller ones on each side very beautiful etchings almost all the way around and what may be small diamond chips all the way around the center stone

Hi. If you want specific info you should find a jewelry appraisal locally--someone who doesn't buy or sell. The PLAT mark designates the ring is made of Platinum.

can you amke out any part of those letters or numbers? it would be good to know if it is 900 or 950 platinum and which alloy.
