Help!
Hey Guys, I have a ring that is 1.53 carats, 7.3 mm with measurements of 7.39 x 7.35 x 4.58. What kind of cut would that be classified as under GIA standards? Thanks for all your help! |

Cut styles are classified by shape and facet arrangement. If the stone is round, then it's a round cut. If it's got all of the main facets in the pavilion coming to a point, then it's a "brilliant". If the facets are arranged in parallel rows, then it's a "step cut". The names and facet arrangements are myriad, check out this sites tutorial on diamonds here: Diamond tutorial at DiamondRing.com |
