This is a feather in diamond and the most unique feature is all of the pyramidical structures (trigons?) are completely enclosed inside the stone.

Erik,
cool inclusions! These look like they might be small octahedrons of diamond...? Any ideas? |

I believe that they are, but I must say that I have never seen them completely enclosed inside of a diamond on a feather before and as soon as I saw it I had to snap a picture of it. |
