Buying online

Hello

I'm replacing a lost engagement ring and was thinking i would get more carat for my money buying online, rather than buying from the high street. My only real worry is buying a stone online that i've never seen and im concerned the stone i buy is just too small..

I've seen the below stone on bluenile website; does anyone have any ideas if the quality of the stone would make it look bigger? I realise the more you spend the larger the stone (?), but if the diamond is going to be tiny i might just wait a few months and buy a better diamond as i don't want the new ring to be a bit underwhelming.

Carat weight:0.44
Cut: Ideal
Colour: F
Clarity: SI2
Depth %:61.9%
Table %:54%
Polish:Excellent
Symmetry:Excellent
Girdle:Thin to Medium
Culet:None
Fluorescence:None
Measurements: 4.90 x 4.93 x 3.04 mm
Price: 516

Does this diamond look ok and do you think it would be a suitable size? I understand that suitable size is relative but im just looking for something simple but sparkly (not tiny) to be set on a 18carat white gold band! To put it in context i paid 1k five years ago for the ring im looking to replace.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

James
