EGL Asia to offer free grading and laser inscription services
at September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair
Hong Kong, August 31, 2010 - EGL Asia, the Hong Kong-headquartered gemological laboratory, will be providing free grading and laser inscription services at the September 14-18 Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair at its booth at the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), Hall 7, 7M32-34, 7N 31-33.
EGL Asia's CEO Joseph Kuzi said that the free service was aimed at providing an opportunity for both visitors and exhibitors to see the range, quality and speed of the identification and grading serves offered by the lab.
"On the first day of the show, we will provide the companies exhibiting in AsiaWorld-Expo's diamond pavilion with a number of invitations to sample our services, which will be available, free of charge, upon presentation of the invitation," Kuzi stated.
Kuzi noted that a gemologist from EGL Asia's strategic partner in Shanghai, the National Centre of Quality Supervision & Inspection on Gold-Silver Products (NGGC), China's leading diamond laboratory, would be working with EGL Asia staff at the booth.
"The participation and involvement of NGGC in the grading and certification process at the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair will be very beneficial for the Chinese companies and buyers that we will be servicing," Kuzi said. "After all, considering EGL Asia's position at the epicentre of the world's fastest growing diamond and gemstone market, we need to assure that the identification and grading services on offer will also be suitable for our Chinese customers."
